Lior is a cyber-security veteran. Before co-founding Rep'nUp, Lior co-founded Guardium, a leading database security company which was acquired by IBM for $225M and Insightix, a real-time network discovery and network access control (NAC) solutions, which was acquired by McAfee. Prior to Guardium, Lior worked with several security companies such as Security-7 (acquired by Computer Associates), Entercep (acquired by McAfee), Whale Communications (acquired by Microsoft) and SkyBox Security. Lior holds a BA in Economics from Bar Ilan University and studied towards MA in Economics as well.
A leading expert in computer vision, Dr. Eran Borenstein formerly worked at Microsoft, where he served as Principal Dev. Manager and Engineer, leading a team responsible for researching, planning, architecting and developing the core computer vision systems inside the XBOX . Prior to this position, Eran served as VP Computer Vision at Videosurf, a video discovery company applying patented computer vision technology with fast computation methods and social insights to create a better way for users to search, discover and watch online video. Videosurf was acquired by Microsoft in 2010. Eran holds a Ph.D. & M.Sc., from the Department of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, Weizmann Institute of Science and a B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He served as a Post-doctoral Fellow at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (MSRI) in Berkeley, at the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department (EECS) at UC Berkeley and at Brown University's Division of Applied Mathematics. Eran holds numerous patents in the fields of computer vision, machine learning and natural language processing
A software expert with over 20 years’ experience in the hi-tech industry. Prior to joining Rep’nUp, Michael was Co-founder and CEO of Sergata Web, a leading R&D company with expertise in developing dynamic web and mobile applications, which executed and delivered hundreds of innovative projects. Before Sergata, Michael held several key roles in the Israeli hi- tech industry, including serving as CEO of Tysam Networks IL, CTO of several startups, Department Manager in Partner and Development Manager of Ynet. Michael also served as advisor to some of the biggest companies in Israel, such as Bank Leumi and Hot Mobile, in the areas of innovation and strategy, monitoring and control systems, Business Continuity Management and Information Security. Michael received his BSc in Computer Science and his MBA, both with honors, from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology.
Professor Auman - a professor of Computer Sciences at Bar Ilan University in Israel (post doc at MIT), with expertise in algorithm design and analysis, artificial intelligence, and multi-agent systems. Professor Auman co-founded ClearForest, a data and text mining company acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2007.
